- Official sources first: the U.S. State Department for advisories and entry rules, the Los Cabos airport for the tourism tax, beach-flag and Blue Flag reports, and operator websites for what tours include.
- Climate data: published NOAA-based temperature, sea-temperature and rainfall averages.
- Booking platforms: current listing and ticket prices on sites like Viator, GetYourGuide and hotel booking sites, noted with the month we checked them.
- Local reporting: regional news for changes such as storms, beach closures and event dates.
What we do not claim
- We do not say we stayed at a resort or took a tour unless we did.
- We do not invent ratings, reviews or listings.
- We do not accept payment to include or rank a business.
